DESCRIPTION:The NWGP invites members of the Nicola 5 communities\n(Coldwater\, Lower Nicola\, Nooaitch\, Shackan\, and Upper Nicola) to join us for a special language gathering. \nThe goal of this event is to translate key words into our languages\, and discuss the role of our languages in the implementation of our Indigenous Laws. We hope to have language speakers and learners from all 5 member communities to inform the important work of the NWGP.

There are many complaints of lack of proper maintenance of fences\, or someone cutting fences\, or leaving gates open. All this is frustrating and certainly does not help in the proper distribution of livestock. This range is for everyone\, not just the few. \nCome out and help plan something decent for the range and better livestock management.\nIf UN is to achieve getting other land back sometime soon\, without proper care of what we have is not improved\, it is not likely there will be use for livestock in the new area. \nScotty Holmes\, UN Council
