David Lindley is serving a second term as Elected Councillor for Upper Nicola Band. Elected in 2014, David’s role was external issues such as First Nations Health Authority working with the 10 Year Plan for health services. He participated in the BC Hydro Enduring Relations Committee with Okanagan Nation Alliance and BC Hydro.
Over the past two terms, David participated in the First Nations Energy & Mining Council on the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency revamping the Environmental Assessment process. He participated in the Aboriginal Resource Tax with the First Nations Taxation Commission in Kamloops. The process involved First Nations working with both Federal and Provincial Governments on tax dollars to First Nations. In this term, his role is working with the Clean Energy initiative between Upper Nicola Band and Fortis BC with Solar Panel Project.
