Post-secondary Assistance Program
The Post-Secondary Assistance Program provides financial support to allow eligible Upper Nicola Band members pursue higher education.
Our education funding policy was updated in 2020. Students will receive sponsorship for either full- or part-time studies. Sponsored full-time students will receive funding for tuition, books, supplies, and a living allowance. Sponsored part-time students will receive funding for tuition, books and supplies. Post-secondary application deadlines for new and returning students is April 30 for Fall registrations, and September 30 for Winter registrations.

Upper Nicola Band/Okanagan Wind Scholarship
Created in Partnership with the Upper Nicola Band, the Okanagan Wind Scholarship Program is open to all Upper Nicola Band members enrolled in Post-Secondary studies. Upper Nicola Band and Okanagan Wind will provide $2,500.00 in scholarships(s) awards to Post Secondary and High School Students.
The scholarships will provide financial support to eligible Upper Nicola Band members enrolled in a recognized university or college on a full-time basis, based on a combination of academic achievement and outstanding community involvement.
