At the January 31, 2024, General Band Meeting, it was announced that the Upper Nicola Band Tribunal Committee have appointed OneFeather to serve as Electoral Officer to conduct a Special Election to fill vacancy of three (3) Councillors.
Further, at the January 31, 2024, General Band Meeting, the following motion was passed:
It was moved and seconded, to approve the Schedule and Timelines for the Special Election for three Councillors, as presented:
• The Special Election date is scheduled for Saturday April 6, 2024
• Advance Poll is scheduled for Saturday March 30, 2024
• Nomination Meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 29, 2024.
